AI Trial, and Very Little Error, With Mystic on Freepik… Impressive!

Testing out this latest AI option, is it a Midjourney “game changer?”

In the past year, I’ve been careful in regaling high praise when the newest AI launches and the masses call it a “Midjourney killer.” In the ubiquitous language of “game changing” AI options, I’ve found little updates or new additions that can make, and keep, that claim.

But the new Mystic option, available now on Freepik.com, just may change my mind. While it doesn’t offer all the features of Midjourney, what it lacks it makes up for in spades in the realism department.

But does its limited features rival the many features of Midjourney?

I’d have to give a resounding Yes! And a slightly less enthusiastic no. But I’ll let you decide.

This will be a quick one; I’ll provide three quick examples of the divergence in quality, creativity, and photorealism between the two platforms.

Keep in mind, Freepik does offer so much more than Midjourney, from the options of millions of stock photos, illustrations, videos and so much more right at your fingertips. Still, Midjourney can create many of those illustrations and photos for you. So you need to weigh the value of having resources at your fingertips or using your fingertips to create you own…
